The month of Shravan is dedicated to Lord Mahadev. Lord Shiva is worshiped in this holy month. Worshiping Lord Shankar on every Monday of the month of Shravan is said to bring happiness and prosperity in life. Along with this, the wishes of the person are also fulfilled. It is said that the month of Shravan is very dear to Lord Shankara. This time the month of Shravan will last for almost 2 months. When does the month of Shravan start?
According to Hindu Panchang, this time Shravan month is going to be about 2 months. The month of Shravan will start from 18th July 2023 and will last till 15th September. That means devotees will get a chance to worship Lord Shankar for a total of 59 days this time. It is said that this auspicious combination happened after 19 years. This time Malamas will be between 18th July to 16th August. This means that along with Lord Shankar, Lord Vishnu will also get blessings in Shravana.Significance of Shravan month :
Each day of Shravan has a very different significance. However, the most important of these fasts is Shravani Monday. Worshiping Lord Mahadev during this period is believed to fulfill all wishes. It is said that the pujas and fasts performed on Mondays, especially in the month of Shravan get immediate results.
Worshiping Lord Shiva :
Jalabhishek and Rudrabhishek are also of special importance in Shiva Puja performed on Shravani Monday. If it is not possible to worship Shiva, it is said that by offering only one bela leaf to Shiva with devotion, one gets the merit of full worship. Also wearing Rudraksha which is one of the symbols of Shiva in Shravan is considered beneficial. and Mother Parvati together is believed to bring good fortune and remove financial problems. It is said that the reason why the month of Shravan is dear to Mahadev Shankar is that Goddess Parvati performed great penance in this month to attain Shankar.
